The Richard Hamill Student Travel Award

Dr. Richard Hamill, one of the original founders of both NYS ATSA and The Alliance, was a strong advocate and tireless promoter of educational, professional, and experimental opportunities for students and interns interested in the areas of criminal justice, victim advocacy, and the reduction of sexual violence in our communities.  This is given in his honor.

The Richard Hamill Student Travel Award honors outstanding undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in becoming involved in the sex offender management field. The award provides a stipend to help defray some or all travel expenses and complimentary meeting registration fees for the NYS ATSA & The Alliance Annual Conference.
